Ian served for 10 years with the Royal Engineers in the British Army before returning to education and obtaining a law degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He then was successful in obtaining a training contract with EMW in 1998 and he qualified as a solicitor in 2000 joining the firm’s corporate team. Since 2009 Ian has headed up the firm’s corporate team from their head office in Milton Keynes and he is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He focuses on the finance and banking aspects of corporate and real estate transactions.
EMW is a commercial law firm which started in Northampton in 1992 and now has offices in Milton Keynes, London and Gatwick.
