David is the Chairman (and owner) of Europa Components plc, a B2B company based in Luton selling industrial automation components to electrical wholesalers. In the past 10 years, the company has grown from 17 to 62 employees with profits of over £1m per annum. He is also a director of Siba (UK) a subsidiary of a German (mittlestand) fuse manufacturer.
In addition, David is the Chairman/Director of various companies including Veruth Holdings, a long term equity investor in Scale-Up SMEs. This includes Zellie Ltd, a B2C company which sells baby changing bags and accessories that has just launched through Walmart in the USA. Another recent investment is British School of Aviation (was Monarch Airways) to train pilots, cabin crew and engineers initially at Luton with plans to franchise worldwide. He was selected for Goldman Sachs GS10k last year and is now an alumni.
As a member of the SEMLEP Growth Board (South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership), he has now been invited to join their main-board.
A former President of the BBH Society of Chartered Accountants he sat on the National Council of ICAEW as Vice-Chair of the Board for Chartered Accountants in Business.
